Jacob Cohen is the founder of OnlyMechanics and owner of Peak Auto Service, a locally operated automotive repair business with four Colorado Springs locations.
OnlyMechanics started with a problem Jacob could see from inside the business: customers need a better way to find useful repair knowledge, understand who is answering, and connect with the right person for the job.

OnlyMechanics is built to make individual experience visible. People can follow the technician, the knowledge, and the repair history, not just the sign over the door.
Jacob took over Peak Auto Service in March 2024. Today, he owns and operates its four Colorado Springs locations, working across the practical realities of diagnostics, repair workflow, technicians, service advisors, and customer communication.
Great repair knowledge is scattered across shops, forums, videos, and conversations. The person who can solve a problem may be across town, at another shop, or answering from a home garage.
The platform brings enthusiast conversation, vehicle-specific repair help, verified mechanics, and searchable automotive knowledge into one garage. The goal is simple: make useful answers easier to find and credible people easier to reach.
Each location provides automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Saturday service is available by appointment.
